Spoločenstvo Ladislava Hanusa / Ladislav Hanus Fellowship

The Hanus Fellowship organises...

...a study program, for university students, or those that have completed their studies. Its aim is to create a fellowship of young motivated Christians, who are ready to set out on the road in search for truth. The semester-long study program is only a start of the building up of a bigger fellowship of young intellectuals, joined by a common vision of private and public life in the spirit of the motto "One person can change the world, but he cannot do it alone."

We offer

  • intellectual inspiration;
  • introduction to many issues from the areas of social sciences, philosophy, religion, theology, journalism and current social events;
  • the possibility of improving your communication skills in regular discussion;
  • the experience of a fellowship of similarly-thinking young people;
  • the possibility of personal and spiritual growth;
  • the chance to get to know important Christian intellectuals in person;
  • and much much more...

My Hanus Fellowship experience

Juraj Klementovič, economist
"I was not only able to broaden my knowledge, but also to grow personally and spiritually in an atmosphere, marked by mutual love and acceptance. It is this precious combination of intellectual nourishment and experience of a true fellowship that I deem to be most valuable asset of the Hanus Fellowship."
Veronika Kolková, law student
"The offer of readings was very rich. Many authors and their viewpoints were completely new to me presenting me with interesting and inspirational thoughts. In any case, my horizons of viewing things and society were broadened. I think my Hanus Fellowship experience has motivated me to try to find the time for reading and thinking about things, which I had considered only at a superficial level before."
Michal Omasta, philosopher
"I thank the Fellowship for focusing my intellectual interest on different things, perhaps even more important ones, than those I deal with during my university studies. I think, we are all able, with the right formation, to become mature leaders, who have a lot to tell this world."
Michal Svetský, linguist
"In our meetings, we have not only read "wise" books. In fact, we have "read" something more - ourselves, others, life... And I also suspect, that somewhere among us, there was He - as mysteriously present, as only He is able to be."
